SUMMARY:Feathers and FlapJacks 5k and Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Birds of a feather\, run together! This year\, the Fountain Hills PTO will be hosting the 3rd annual Feathers & Flapjacks 5K & Fun Run for the whole community!  All registration fees go right back to our school. So grab your friends\, colleagues\, and family members for a fun-filled day of Falcon spirit\, community togetherness\, and exercise! Following the 5K & Fun Run\, the FHUSD PTO will be hosting a delicious pancake breakfast in the elementary school cafeteria.\n\nThe 5K will  start promptly at 8:00 am with the 1 Mile walk to follow. The Fun Run will be four laps (1 mile) around the track. While the 5K will follow a desert trail  behind the school property out on the state land with views of the McDowell and Four Peaks Mountain ranges. \n\nRunners will be able to pick up race packets the evening before the event\, January 10th at the McDowell Mountain Elementary School front office from 5 to 7 PM.\n\nT-shirt Guaranteed if you register by 1/03/25.  Any registration after 1/03/25 t-shirts will be upon availability.\n\nIn addition\, participants may arrive anytime after 6am on race day to pick up their packets. \n\nThe top 3 finishers in each category will receive an honorary medal (age categories: 12 and under\, 13-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, & 60+) as well as the largest team to participate.
