The Town of Fountain Hills invites local business owners and community members to an informative session on the future of downtown and the next steps in the Downtown Strategy implementation.
Titled Downtown Streetscapes: Next Steps and Implementation, this public meeting will provide an in-depth look at the Town’s vision for a thriving and dynamic downtown, along with the potential impacts on businesses and the community. With the Town Council currently reviewing budget items related to the strategy, implementation is tentatively planned over the next five years.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM inside Council Chambers at Town Hall, located at 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains. Attendees have the chance to learn about the phased approach for planned enhancements and how the improvements may affect them during the process. Town staff will provide updates and take questions from those in attendance. Light refreshments will be provided.
“This initiative is a key step in shaping the future of our downtown,” said Economic Development Director Amanda Jacobs. “We encourage our business community and residents to stay informed and engaged as we move forward with these exciting improvements.”
Representatives from various Town departments will be on hand to discuss major aspects of the plan, including enhanced walkability, beautification efforts, infrastructure upgrades, and economic development opportunities.
The Town encourages all downtown business owners and interested residents to attend and take part in the discussion.
