FH Youth Theater Beauty & the Beast Performance Camp

Description

Beauty & the Beast , a performance-based camp for ages 8-16, will focus on all the skills needed for a working theater production, alongside professional teaching artists who provide real-world training. All campers will have a part in the show which will be on our Mainstage, two ticketed evening performances, their pic & bio in the program and a camp t-shirt! Campers will not only learn how to perform in this show but will also be trained along the way with the skills needed to be in any production. The best part is that this all builds self-confidence, skills and grows new friendships at the same time.

Performance Academy 1 & 2 will start each day in their own age group, learning & practicing the skills they need to be a “triple threat”. In the second half of each day, campers will work together as an ensemble to bring their musical performance to life.

A concurrent Tech/Production camp will be offered for students ages 10-16, interested in learning the behind-the-scenes skills of theater.
