It’s that time of year again … your taxes are filed (well, maybe, almost) and you are trying to decide what to do with all that superfluous paper!
On Saturday, April 19th, the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library is sponsoring a FREE SHRED-A-THON.
A shredding truck from Cutter Document Destruction will be parked in the Fountain Hills High School parking lot from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Please enter the parking lot off of Hampstead Drive.) A willing and able group of volunteers from the Friends of the Library will be there to assist you with your bags and boxes. This is a FREE event.
But - there are rules:
• There is a three-box/bag limit.
• We can shred only paper: bank statements, medical documents, legal documents, and personal correspondence.
• We cannot shred: newspapers, magazines, junk mail, hard-cover or hanging file folders, 3-ring binders, metal clips or plastics.
We will gratefully accept donations. Any donations will go to the FH Friends of the Library and from there to the Library in order to provide the Library and the Community with Summer and Winter Reading Programs for Children, Teens and Adults, Library Furnishings and Technology, Front Porch Performances and Storyteller Events, Scholarships and our amazing Resale Book Shop. We are always welcoming new members to the FHFL and encourage you to go to our Website www.fhfl.org to join.
