Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Tour

Come, explore the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation (FMYN) with the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center and Clissene Lewis, Director of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Cultural Center & Museum. Experience the community’s rich culture and history on our immersive tour of the FMYN reservation. Guests will tour new locations as well as some favorites from past tours. Learn how the land and river are still life-giving to the Yavapai people today, just as it has in the past.

The tour features a look at the importance of the Verde River as a central water source for current FMYN farms and as a central source of much that has supported the FMYN throughout time. Other cultural, historical, and environmental topics are planned, including a visit to Rosa’s Ranch, the FMYN Cultural Center. 

You will enjoy your tour in the comfort of an air-conditioned touring bus with snacks and water provided along the way. End your experience with an elaborate buffet at the WeKoPa Resort Casino.
