Go behind the scenes at the River of Time Museum! Explore rarely seen photographs, artifacts, and historic documents on an exclusive guided tour of the museum's archives. Space is limited to just 10 guests per tour.Ever wonder what lies beyond the museum's exhibit walls? For the first time, the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center is opening its archives for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.
Led by our knowledgeable volunteer curatorial team, this intimate one-hour tour offers a rare opportunity to step inside the museum's collections area and explore historic photographs, vintage documents, maps, and fascinating artifacts from the Lower Verde River Valley that are not currently on public display.
Along the way, you'll discover how the museum preserves its collections, hear the untold stories behind remarkable objects, and gain a deeper appreciation for the people, places, and events that shaped our community.
With attendance limited to just 10 guests, each tour offers an engaging, personal experience and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Tours are offered on the second Thursday of each month from October through April.
