Parenting Class: Baby, Toddler, and Two Play-and-Learn!
Recycle your way to amazing play-and-learn fun in this class for parents and grandparents at the Fountain Hills Community Center! Collect red, yellow, blue, and green “throw-aways” and learn how to turn them into teaching tools for ages birth to three years. All sessions include information related to different ages and stages, and promoting development is a big part of this program. Class meets for four one-hour sessions on Thursdays with a choice of morning classes at 10:30 a.m. or afternoon classes at 4:30 p.m., beginning July 14 and ending on August 4. Children are welcome, but the content is designed for parents and grandparents to create and learn on their own.
Sally Goldberg, Ph.D., also known as Dr. Sally, is a professor of education, book author, magazine writer, and founder of a blog at www.earlychildhoodnews.net. A Fountain Hills resident and Chamber of Commerce member, she works as an instructor of early childhood education, is well-known for her tools and strategies for self-esteem development, is a national conference presenter, and has been a frequent guest on TV and radio.
