VFW Beer Garden at Great Fair 2019
During the Great Fair, VFW Post 7507 will host a Beer Garden and a mini-Beer Garden throughout the weekend, operating daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The VFW's Beer Garden serving food and drink with live entertainment is still located on Saguaro just south of the Avenue of the Fountains intersection. The mini-Beer Garden will be located near the corner of Verde River Drive and Avenue of the Fountains.
We invite everyone to support the VFW and its charities by relaxing at one of the two beer gardens with a soft drink or beer or wine or even a cocktail. At the main Beer Garden, fresh brats, hot dogs and chili will also be available to enjoy while taking a break from shopping or manning one of the many booths. Red Shirt Friday shirts will also be available for purchase at the main garden on Saguaro Blvd.
Want to sit down and relax and enjoy a little live music? The VFW Beer Garden is the alternate place to do so if you are not at the intersection of Verde River and Avenue of the Fountains and the main stage. The VFW Beer Garden is the only place within the confines of the Great Fair where you can purchase an alcoholic drink to go with your freshly cooked brat, hot dog or chili. The public is invited to sit, eat, relax and listen to the live music provided by the Boarder Line Band (playing classic rock, country and blues) or by the Blacksmith Hand Band (featuring classic rock, male and female vocals . The buying of food or drink from the VFW is not required, but encouraged as a way to support your veterans. Bringing in food from any other food vendor at the Great Fair is authorized.
Admittance to the Beer Garden is free. Beverage and food are sold at reasonable prices. All profits go to support veterans.
We hope to see you there.
