Wonder & Exploration Children's Series
Wonder & Exploration is a free, hands-on learning series for children ages 4–6 at the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center! Each session features a story, themed craft, and museum adventure designed to spark curiosity through history, science, and imaginative play.These engaging sessions combine literacy, history, science, and creativity in a fun and interactive museum experience.
Every program begins with a reading from a beautifully illustrated storybook, followed by a supervised themed craft that children can take home. Young participants will also explore the museum through activities that encourage discovery, imagination, and a love of learning.Thursday, September 24 – Ranchers’ Round-Up
Saddle up for a Wild West adventure! Children will enjoy a story inspired by Arizona's historic desert ranches, create a fun take-home craft, and explore museum exhibits that bring the region's ranching heritage to life.Thursday, October 22 – Owl-O-Ween Adventures
Celebrate the season by discovering the fascinating world of desert owls! This fun-filled morning includes a reading of a themed storybook, an owl-inspired craft, and a museum adventure that explores these remarkable nighttime birds.Dates: Thursday, September 24 & Thursday, October 22
