Workforce Intern Program Informational Meeting
CHAMBER MEMBERS ARE INVITED to participate in an informational meeting to learn more about our Workforce Intern Program (WIP), a valuable collaboration between the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Fountain Hills Unified School District.
Program Overview:
In collaboration with local businesses and non-profit organizations, WIP aims to provide students with real-world, local experience, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their academic and professional journeys while enhancing the connection between the business community and FHUSD.
During this meeting, you'll:
- Understand the benefits of participating in the Workforce Intern Program (WIP)
- Gain insights into how your organization can mentor and guide a student.
- Receive details on how to become a host for an FHUSD intern starting this fall.
- Learn more about successfully promoting your internship offerings at the FHHS Intern Fair & Senior Success Luncheon.
If you choose to participate, it's required to attend the Intern Fair & Senior Success Luncheon to "recruit" possible interns! This is where the students will meet you in person, and get a chance to hear about your business. The Intern Fair & Senior Success Luncheon takes place August 26th @ 12:30pm -2:00pm (plan to arrive early for setup!).
Thank you to our program sponsor the Verne C. Johnson Foundation!
