Workforce Internship Program Informational Meeting
Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce - Workforce Internship Program Informational Meeting
CHAMBER MEMBERS ARE INVITED to participate in an informational meeting to learn more about our Workforce Internship Program (WIP), a valuable collaboration between the Fountain Hills Unified School District and the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce.
Program Overview:
In collaboration with local businesses and non-profit organizations, WIP aims to provide students with real-world, local experience, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in their academic and professional journeys while enhancing the connection between the business community and FHUSD.
During this information meeting, you'll:
- Gain insights into how your organization can mentor and guide a student
- Understand the benefits of participating in the Senior Intern Program.
- Receive details on how to become a host for an FHUSD intern starting this fall.
- Discuss how to successfully promote your internship offerings during the FHHS intern fair.
This program not only enriches students' educational journey but also strengthens our local business community by fostering the next generation of workforce leaders.
If you choose to participate it's critical to attend the Intern Fair to "recruit" possible interns!!
This where the students will meet you in person and get to hear about your business.
The intern fair takes place Tues. Sept. 17, 204 10 am- 12 pm (plan to arrive early for set up)
(additional details to follow for the intern fair)
