Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in the propane industry. This role involves direct communication with customers, scheduling deliveries and service calls, maintaining accurate account records, and processing payments. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone and interpersonal skills, be punctual, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls from existing and new customers in a professional, courteous manner

Schedule propane deliveries and service calls efficiently

Update and maintain accurate customer account information in company systems

Process and post customer payments accurately

Create and manage rental and lease agreements for propane tanks and equipment

Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly

Work collaboratively with drivers, technicians, and other team members to ensure timely service

Maintain organized records and documentation

Sign up for and work 1–2 Saturday shifts per month during peak season (October–April)
Qualifications: -
Prior customer service experience preferred (experience in propane or utility industry a plus)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent phone and communication skills

Must have reliable transportation and be punctual

Basic computer proficiency (experience with customer account software a plus)

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Working Conditions: -
Office-based environment

Must be able to sit for extended periods and handle multiple phone calls during busy periods

Occasional Saturday shifts during the heating season

This is not a work from home position
